GYDCG-UBCH2-LZ DC Insulation Monitor

GYDCG-UBCH2-LZ DC Insulation Monitor features insulation monitoring start/stop control. When insulation monitoring is enabled, it can monitor the insulation resistance between the positive/negative poles and ground in real time. The monitoring results are not affected by DC voltage fluctuations or the symmetry of positive and negative insulation resistance.

Why does a dual-gun charging pile need two monitoring channels?

A dual-gun pile has two charging outputs that can be used at the same time, for two vehicles. Both outputs are floating DC circuits that share one ground. If only one monitor were used, a fault on one gun could be masked or confused with the other gun’s circuit. The UBCH2 gives each gun its own channel with separate control, so one gun can start or stop its insulation check while the other keeps running, and each result belongs to its own circuit.
