GYDCG-UB1K Compact DC Insulation Monitor with Buzzer and Relay Alarm

Description

The GYDCG-UB1K compact DC insulation monitor measures the insulation resistance between the positive and negative poles and ground in 100~1000VDC (or 10~100VDC) floating DC systems. It combines a fault relay, an indicator light and a buzzer alarm output with RS485 communication, and its alarm threshold can be set by DIP switches or over RS485.

GYDCG-UB1K DC Insulation Monitor features insulation monitoring start/stop control. When insulation monitoring is enabled, it can monitor the insulation resistance between the positive/negative poles and ground in real time. The monitoring results are not affected by DC voltage fluctuations or the symmetry of positive and negative insulation resistance.

• Monitors insulation resistance between positive and negative poles and ground in 100~1000VDC (or 10~100VDC) floating DC systems.
• Resistance measurement range: 0KΩ~10MΩ.
• DC voltage detection range: 0~1000VDC.
• Supports RS485 communication.
• DC voltage reverse connection alarm function.
• The alarm resistance threshold can be set through DIP switches or RS485 communication. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set value, the fault relay will activate and the indicator light will turn on.

What happens when insulation drops below the set value?

The UB1K compares the measured insulation resistance with the alarm threshold you have set. When the resistance falls below it, the fault relay switches and the indicator light turns on, and the module also provides a buzzer alarm output. This gives a local, visible warning for a floating DC system without needing a separate controller, while RS485 lets a PLC or monitoring system read the values when you need remote data.
