GYDCG-UB100 100V DC Insulation Monitor for 10~100VDC Systems

Description

The GYDCG-UB100 100V DC insulation monitor monitors the insulation resistance between the positive and negative poles and ground in 10~100VDC floating DC systems. It has a 0KΩ~1MΩ measuring range, a fault relay with indicator light, a buzzer alarm output, and RS485 communication with MODBUS RTU protocol. The alarm threshold and reset mode are set with DIP switches.

GYDCG-UB100 DC Insulation Monitor features insulation monitoring start/stop control. When insulation monitoring is enabled, it can monitor the insulation resistance between the positive/negative poles and ground in real time. The monitoring results are not affected by DC voltage fluctuations or the symmetry of positive and negative insulation resistance.

• Supports RS485 communication with MODBUS RTU protocol.

Passive reset or automatic reset: which should I choose?

When insulation falls below the alarm threshold, the fault relay activates and the L2 indicator turns on. The reset mode decides what happens next. With automatic reset the alarm clears by itself once the insulation resistance recovers. With passive reset the alarm is kept until it is reset. Both modes are selected with the DIP switches, so you can match the behaviour to your maintenance procedure without changing hardware.
